Vibrantly pretty, but is it good looks over poor design?

Purchased as a replacement for a well used, but still working, Tassimo machine. Top marks for how lovely it looks - the colour (red) is so vibrant, and it does look good. However, I feel there are a couple of niggling issues that were not apparent on my previous machine. Firstly, it can be a struggle lining up the water tank. Secondly, and perhaps slightly more irritating, after completing a pod, the condensation/steam is extremely evident all over the part of the machine you are about to open to add/remove pods. This makes it a) slippery when trying to open, and b) you get wet hands from opening it - unless you always have something to hand to wipe it dry. Possibly a redesign that disperses the steam anywhere other than directly at the front. . . ?
